Let him go – a Jewish story
Book launch at the Danish Embassy in London of LET HIM GO – a book written by the Danish author Ib Katznelson.
We saw the author in conversation with Ben Barkow, Director at Wiener Library, London.
It’s the story about Ib Katznelson who as a young – jewish – toddler survived two nazi-camps, Ravensbruck and Theresienstadt.
Now he has written a book about the whole story, his parents and family, what happened in the camps, the desperation and the hope – and how incredibly lucky he was to survive.
It’s a very moving story.
When signing my copy of the book, he wrote next to his signature “Let it never happen again”, a warning against today’s rising anti-Semitism in most of Europe.
